It's time. What time is it? It's time for the Ugly Quacking Duck Podcast.
Sunny:And a brand new episode.
Bruce:Well, all right, everyone, I am Bruce.
Sunny:And I am Sunny, and I am sunny.
Bruce:And I really am glad to have you aboard. If this is the first time being with us, I hope you stick around and come back often, and if this is not the first time you've been here before, thank you for coming back and I wish you well.
Sunny:I wish you well. I wish everybody well. Yeah, we're happy to have everyone with us, so good morning good day good evening wherever you are, oh boy, we did it again.
Bruce:Yeah, we did. All right, everyone. This is episode number 27, 27, and season five. So go get your, drink some popcorn and let's settle in for this weekend episode and we'll see what happens.
Sunny:Yay, let's see what happens. That sounds like a good deal. Let's give it some applause.
Bruce:All right, a little bit of applause for our episode. And this is the weekend of the new I'm not going to say new moon, second moon If you've been listening to any TikToks, youtubes, even the news. They've all talked about having a second moon, a mini moon, come into our orbit and boy the way they talk. We're going to see two moons in the sky and it's going to be a really great phenomenon oh yeah, I've heard that.
Sunny:I've also heard what you was telling the family about all that.
Bruce:Oh, you was paying attention, was you?
Sunny:Well of course I listen to everything, even if it bores me Boring. It bores me Boring.
Bruce:Okay, oh boy. Well, I have to say, Sunny, it was very intriguing. When I first heard the news about having a second moon, I had to go look it up. I mean, gee, I never thought we'd had one before, but apparently scientists are saying we've had them before. They call them mini moons, and there's been several over the years, but this one is. I actually looked up the paper where they described the actual finding out about it, which only happened in, I think, August it's not been very long ago and they're calling it 2024 PT5. So that's a heck of a name.
Sunny:Oh yeah, that is a tongue twister. 2024 P-T-5. Let's hear you say that two times fast Bruce.
Bruce:Uh no, I had to really monitor myself to say that I don't think I want to do it more than once.
Sunny:Oh, come on, let's hear you say it about five times, really, really fast.
Bruce:You know what? I don't do anything fast anymore.
Sunny:Well, you got that right, Boring.
Bruce:Okay, that's twice. That's enough. We don't want to hear it, no more.
Sunny:Oh, come on.
Bruce:Okay, no, anyhow, I looked it up on the web the big web, you know and if you want to look up the research paper on it, I found it under rnaas research notes of the aas two moon or two months mini moon. Um, supposedly this new mini moon is going to be here for about two months, and not exactly two months, but uh, there's a little bit more detail on this new moon than uh, I've given you so far the way. Uh, the tiktokers and the youtube people have talked. Um, like I said, you're left with a feeling that you're gonna see another moon out out there, uh, two moons in our orbit, and you get excited and I couldn't wait to see that. However, if you read the article, it makes you feel quite a bit different about the whole thing. So, but, like I said, I'm a conspiracy nut. I enjoy delving into those, hearing them.
Bruce:So when I heard this, I thought oh boy, what's going to happen here? We're going to get to see two moons, and is this mean we're actually going to have a moon or is the powers to be going to use us as an experiment to see whether their new technology is going to work? Or maybe it's nibiru coming in, and you know, nibiru has a bunch of moons that that orbit it and they're going to come in and we're going to get to season one of those moons. I had a lot of thoughts going on. Or maybe it's even an angel or a sign from the master and creator of the universe. So I had a lot of thoughts. I was excited. I couldn't wait to this weekend, to the new moon, to orbit and see what was happening. So I looked it up and you know what's really strange about this? If you don't believe in coincidences, you'll really find something strange about this.
Sunny:Oh, tell us Strange. Yay, you're strange, though, bruce. Anything that comes out of your mouth is strange.
Bruce:Well, that may not be quite true, but I'll listen to it, sonny. But anyhow, to get back to the story, I found it very curious that the weekend the same weekend, the 29th weekend or the weekend of the 29th that may be a better way of saying it.
Sunny:Oh, I think it's a lot better way of saying it. Get your words right.
Bruce:All right, Sonny, I'll get my words approximate. How's that sound?
Sunny:Well, I think that sounds like you.
Bruce:Yeah, it does, doesn't it? Well, anyway, I thought it sounded, or become peculiar to find out that same weekend we had a hurricane come in and bombard Florida, most of the United States most of the United States and what it did was give a lot of cloud cover to many up well, no, that is a reason not to look up.
Bruce:If you look up and the raindrops get you, uh, it's kind of hard to look up. You know it's been cloudy, cloudy all weekend. Now there are some breaks in the clouds but, um, we're not able to see. And we're slowly approaching the sunday evening, the 29th, and, uh, we'll see if there's any moon.
Bruce:Um, all the talk in the news and um, on tiktoks and all the uh youtubes and everything that I seen really hyped it up that there was going to be a second moon. In fact, I seen a couple tiktoks where they was actually talking about having two moons already. Okay, so anyway. But I went and looked up that article about, or I should say that paper about, the discovery of this 2024 PT5, and what this mini moon is and most of them are is an asteroid, and it's temporarily captured into the Earth's orbit, goes around for days, sometimes months, but not more than that usually, and then they're back out again. I did read, however, that they said there was one of them that they thought went around for over a year before it left, but, uh, they wasn't sure, they didn't see it. Now I don't know how they come up with that information. I didn't delve any farther into it, but I just want to stick with this uh, asteroid.
Bruce:So this asteroid, supposedly. Are you ready for this? This, uh, second moon that we're going to see? This asteroid is, of what this paper says, 37 feet in diameter, um, yeah, 37 feet, about the size of a huge bus, and it's going to be out there. Wait, look, I got this wrote down. I wrote it down right from the article. Okay, sorry about that noise. I wrote this down from the article and it's going to orbit about you. Ready for this? 2.6 million miles away and they say it's 37 feet in diameter, or 11 meters, but without more observations and data, they won't know for sure to confirm its size.
Bruce:Okay, so most of the people in the news and on all these TikToks and YouTube videos I watch are all saying is 33 feet. Okay, that's pretty curious number. That 33 and 66 seems to come up a lot when they're lying to us or they're contributing this information to something else later on. So just pay attention to that when that happens. But, needless to say, that's what they're doing this time.
Bruce:They took the 37 feet and made it 33 feet, and that's what they're telling everybody. And yet we're supposed to see some kind of moon at 33 feet wide, and if you believe this universe is big and all the stories they tell us, and it's going to be at 2.6 million light miles away. That better be a bright asteroid, I'm telling you. So what that leads me to believe is either it's another distraction so they can do something else behind our back while they're playing games, or it's a test. Like I said, they're going to test us on some kind of technology and they're going to see what happens or maybe it's a cover-up and there is something going to happen.
Bruce:They're not sure exactly what's going to unfold, so they get this story embedded in our minds so they can use it later. Don't know, sounds like a good story to me yes, it is, it's a lot, but something got.
Bruce:Admit, something's going on. We just don't know what it is, but we shall see. They say, let me see, I wrote this down too. Um, they say it's supposed to come in on the september the 29th and then it's supposed to go back out again on November, the 25th. So, with that in mind, that gives us almost exactly not quite two months to find it and see it, or gives them two months for whatever is going to happen, to make up the story that this asteroid did it. It did it. I hope we get to see. Are you looking forward to it? Are you excited? Now all we need to do is get the good weather back in with the starry night so we can see the heavens and determine what is not going on or what is going on. What do you think about that, sonny?
Sunny:Wow, I think maybe you're a little crazy, but I see where your excitement's coming from and we're going to get some popcorn and stay up late and get to see some stars.
Bruce:Yes, sirree, that's the plan. Don't look like it's going to happen tonight, though, because the clouds we actually got a couple small rainstorms in. It's been cloudy all day and we went, went to town, there was a big black cloud hovering over us. Come back home and I I thought for sure he's going to pour on us. And when we went outside for the second time to feed the cats, lo and behold, it poured only for uh what five minutes, if that long and then it quit again. So it's a kind of strange storm that's over the top of us, but again we can't see the sky. How be it that happened right at the same time? So you think it's going to rain for two months, stay cloudy for two months.
Bruce:I hope not, I really hope not. Well, there was a little break in our conversation. I'd like to thank the captain once again for giving me that riff, and I've actually got two of them from him, and you may not like that type of music, but I kind of think it gives you a good break and then we can go back into something else.
Sunny:Yep it gives me something I think it's heartburn.
Bruce:Okay, thanks, sonny.
Sunny:Oh, that's all right. I like that other song that you play every now and then you know the little alien song.
Bruce:Oh yeah, I like that one too. We'll have to do that sometime. But hey, let's go into the earthquakes. What do you say?
Sunny:Hey, that sounds great. I want to guess.
Bruce:Yeah, we it's been let's see a little bit over a month since we finished an episode, uh, lily and I sat down and tried to do one.
Bruce:Uh, about three weeks, maybe in two weeks, maybe after the other one, and when we got most of it done we listened a little bit and we both decided we didn't really think it was happening. We didn't like the, the way it was going and the way we sounded, so we just shut her off and I tried two more times to get going on this very episode, and each weekend when I tried, something come up and I didn't get to spend a lot of time on it. I just get the introduction and a couple of about 15 minutes in and I didn't get finished so I had to quit, and it's been a while since I've got one done. Work is a taxing me quite a bit and we've had a few problems here on the weekends I had to fix instead of podcast. So I apologize if there's any listeners out there that was really disappointed. I'm not sure there was, but they's probably all happy.
Sunny:Oh, you got that right. They's probably shouting hey, he's not in, he's not on.
Bruce:Well, that's kind of made up, but let's hope not. Let's hope they's all kind of missing me a little bit and Lily, and we don't have Lily over right now, so we can't get her on. Anyhow, let's do some earthquakes for any of the listeners. That's new what we do. We try to do a seven-day earthquake report and we give you a total for the last seven days and we watch them go up and down, up and down. See how it goes.
Sunny:All right, let's go. Where's that report at Bruce, Come on.
Bruce:Okay, I hear you, sonny, and I've got the report. I had to go make me a cup of tea. I made some hot hibiscus tea with honey. I thought maybe it'd help my allergies a little bit. It seems my voice is not doing well today and I don't know if the rain brought something in. I don't know what's going on, but I'm having a hard time with it again in this room. Um, even though it is better than the garage, it seems to get bring out my allergies a lot worse. I don't know, maybe it's the air conditioner, who knows. Anyhow, I just had a sip of tea. I'm hoping it helps, and I did get the seven-day earthquake report.
Sunny:Yay, I love it, I love it, I love it. I get to guess, guess and. Louie's not here, so I get to guess and I will win yeah, you will.
Bruce:Uh, that's for sure. Okay, so, um, since it's been so long, I'm not sure exactly where where to do this or start this. It's been quite a while since we did this. Um. Um, I've got 922 wrote down, so I will go over that one more time so we are refreshed. So, as of 922, and I'm not sure we got that podcast episode out, but I got the numbers wrote down. Anyhow we had 1975, 1,975 all-magnitude earthquakes that day, and 2.5 and over were 231. And the 4.5 was 81, which was actually a little bit low compared to what we had been seeing. Uh, 97 was actually 21, 59 for all the magnitudes, 250 for 2.5 and then 76, which was a little bit lower than 922 for the 4.5 count. So 1975 is the number we're going to watch, we're going to go and see what happens this week. So we're counting back 7 days, sunny seven days. What was the total magnitude? Come and tell me now.
Sunny:All right, I like that You're trying to stir me up.
Bruce:Well, a little bit. Hey, let's see what this does for you.
Sunny:That's not funny. A little bit of pressure on you. No, that's not no pressure at all on me. That's what you're thinking, though, isn't it Bruce?
Bruce:Yep, a little bit. I'm trying to give you a little bit of pressure.
Sunny:Well, it's not working. I can talk to myself and overcome it.
Bruce:Well, we'll see about that. We'll work on that a little bit, but anyhow, what's?
Sunny:your answer. All right, so it was 1975, which was a good year according to. Bruce, 1975, on 9-27. We're going back seven days, so I'm going to guess yes, 1900. What do you think about that, bruce?
Bruce:1900, let me write that down. Sonny guesses. All right, I am writing it down. Okay. 1900, all right, and drum for everything for seven days is 1839, yep night 1839. You went over sunny, but since you're the only one guessing, I guess you got closer.
Sunny:Yay, yay.
Bruce:Yay, okay, in all seriousness, now we try to make fun of all this. But it is serious trying to make fun of all this, but it is serious, um, because when they're having earthquakes, damage occurs, lives are lost. It's not a big laughing matter, to be honest so to go on.
Bruce:We had let me get the paper back out we had 2.5 plus earthquakes was 231. Ah, that tea's good. You guys ought to try it if you haven't. Hibiscus hot tea with honey in in it. Oh, it's really good anyway. 2.5 and overs was 231. This week, going back seven days, it was 216, so they were lower also, which is a good sign. And then the 4.5 was 81. 4.5 and over, and today we have an 80. So they were one less count down, which is good, down, which is good. Last count on 922. We had 6.0, 6.3 and a 6.5 earthquake to report. I usually don't report the fives and the fours.
Bruce:There's a lot of them well, as you can see, there was 80 minus one, so 79. Um, I don't report those because there's a big list, but there was one, 6.3, and it was in. Are you ready for this? In the reunion region? You heard me right folks, reunion Region, and that is. I looked it up. It's out in the ocean west of Africa. So there you go. I hope you know where Africa's at.
Sunny:That's funny. Oh, that's not funny, but okay you made your point.
Bruce:You knew something well, not really.
Bruce:I had to look it up. I didn't know have a clue where that was, but anyhow, and speaking of such not having a clue, but looking it up, there is a gentleman called ryan I don't remember I don't remember his last name, but he's on youtube, um, and he does uh reports for bad storms and, uh, he was on the uh air. If you want to call it the air, I like to call it the air but he's on YouTube streaming for over, I think, 13 hours don't quote me on that because I didn't stay up watching the whole time but he was following the hurricane that came in, but he was following the hurricane that came in and he was calling it out and some of the things that were going to happen, you know, like with the flooding. He said that was going to be the worst of it and I think he was right, because Georgia got flooded out, they lost power and they've got some really bad stuff still going on there, um, but to make a long story short, if I can, uh, they are tracking two more, um, what do they call them?
Bruce:Uh, depressions, uh, storms, I don't know, that are probably going to turn into hurricanes. Uh, out there, one of them's out there by mexico, out in the ocean, and the other one is out there where they always start out there by the bahamas and stuff like that two of them, uh, heading in. And he's talking about it right now I'm not listening to it, but I've heard that there's a couple more storms out there too, but this is hurricane season, so keep your eyes open, your ears open, because it's going to bring in more rain and stuff. And again I say isn't it a coincidental that this is a time when they're talking about seeing this other moon, which I don't know how you're going to see that, as small as it is and as far out as it is? You wouldn't even be able to see it with an amateur telescope. You'd have to have a good one a big one, but anyway, it's going to be covered by more storms.
Bruce:Isn't that weird? But I'd like to ask everybody to keep their prayers and positive thoughts towards all these people and all these storms. We need protection. There's only one person that can give you that kind of protection. It's not man. You need to keep that in mind, guys. Anyway, thanks for tuning in. I'm going to cut this one short. I was going to make an hour episode but with my throat doing doing way it always does anymore, um, I may have to go back on their allergy pills. That seems to help, but uh, I'm gonna cut it short, get this one uploaded tonight and, uh, maybe I can come back and do another one next week. I was going to try to start doing them an hour long and do them maybe once a month or maybe two times a month. Go back to my old routine. I just can't do it with working and stuff and all the little problems life hands you.
Sunny:It seems to give you a lot. Yeah, it does. Uh, you've been busy this weekend, last weekend, well, thanks for noticing yeah, I'm waiting on you to swallow. That's was a big gulp.
Bruce:Yeah, it was Well. Thanks for waiting, but you could have said something while I was talking, you know, that way there wouldn't be dead silence.
Sunny:Yeah, but it's more fun to wait and stare at you.
Bruce:All right, you are so ornery.
Sunny:Yeah, I know. And besides that, tell your group of listeners that we got another new kitten out there in the yard and guess what I'm going to chase?
Bruce:Oh, yes, we got a little black kitten out there and no, you leave him alone, let him get bigger. He's really kind of small.
Sunny:Yeah, he is. That's the fun part.
Bruce:No, his mother abandoned him as soon as he got weaned and you don't need to be picking on him. That's an order from your boss. How's that sound?
Sunny:I think you're full of baloney, but okay, I'll be nice to him till he gets bigger.
Bruce:There you go. Thank you, I appreciate that, sonny, did you have fun today?
Sunny:Not really. I didn't talk much Hello.
Bruce:Yeah, you're right, you didn't talk much and we had a shout out. What do they call those? Hang on, I got to think of it. We had a rating out there on Apple. Yeah, we do, uh, get on apple. We're on spotify, we're on several um podcast apps, so look us up. Um, anyhow, we had a review. It was pretty good. It said Sonny was a little quiet, lily was a little loud. I'm not sure I was rated on that one, but anyway, they said good job and we appreciate that.
Bruce:I'm not sure who the listener is, because it didn't give a name, it just gave a bunch of letters. But thank you, thank you. And I want to make sure I shout out to everybody that rates us or that sends us in a text. You can do that now. You can just go to your favorite app. There should be a place that has our description and right on there it should say hang on, let me find my phone and I will read it to you. All right, thanks for being patient while I grab my phone. But it says on the and where'd it go? Hit something says click here, text us, text us, get a shout out next episode. And that's what I mean. Just send us a text. You can also email us.
Bruce:You can contact us in several different ways, but just contact us. That's what we're here for. We want to hear from you and see if you're enjoying the show or not. But to the person on Apple, we want to do one more thing, so hang on. Alright, I had to push the buttons to get to this. Here you go to the person on Apple that gave us the review. We want to thank you. You've been goosed by the ugly quacking duck, all right. And Mark, I forgot you last time. Oh, excuse me last time. So here you go. You've been goosed by the ugly quacking duck, alright. And if I forgot anybody else, then send me another reply text rating whatever and I will get back with you same way. Until next time, we'll. We'll talk to you again, won't we?
Sunny:yeah, we will, we'll talk to you again, won't we? Yeah, we will, we'll talk to you again yes, we will.
Bruce:Until next time. We will see you when we're there, right, something like that. I don't know, I haven't got the exit down. Very good, I'll have to work on that, but we'll come up with something eventually. It's only been a couple years down. Very good, I'll have to work on that, but we'll come up with something eventually. It's only been a couple years. You can't expect everything overnight. Gosh, what's with you guys?
Sunny:Oh my gosh, you are silly.
Bruce:I know it. Are you ready to say goodbye, yep, I'm ready. Okay, let's say goodbye to everybody and wish them luck no, not luck, wishing the Father's blessings. And may you come back to us and we'll meet again. Okay, let's go. 73, bye.
